Jasraj Singh Thiara. That’s the name I go by.
I’m a 16 year old
male British Sikh student who resides in west London and I see myself as an
enthusiastic fan of Liverpool Football Club.
Football, in my opinion is as great a sport anyone wants to watch and I’ll be offering my unbiased, critical and in-depth views regarding current affairs in the world of football whether it’s in regards to the Premier League or grassroots football clubs, in my upcoming blogs.
Coming off the back of finishing off GCSE examinations, I
intend to make the most of my summer giving the world of football fanatics an
essence of my views and opinions on current issues within football. Come
September, I hope to be starting A-Level courses, but that will not extinguish
my love for the greatest sport on earth.Football, in my opinion is as great a sport anyone wants to watch and I’ll be offering my unbiased, critical and in-depth views regarding current affairs in the world of football whether it’s in regards to the Premier League or grassroots football clubs, in my upcoming blogs.
In terms of favourite players, I look no further than
someone who is a perfect role model and the complete player, in the form of Steven
Gerrard, who is one of the major inspirations in my life, not just in sporting
context but in terms of psychology too, given the Liverpool and England
captain’s warrior-like attitude in relation to facing uphill battles.
Morally, I believe that if something is not hard, it’s not
worth the try. However, if it is hard, it’s worth the time, the effort and the
pressure, which in a nutshell denotes that a goal can only be fully achieved via the
application of hard work and vision for success.
I usually listen to Old School Hip Hop music from the “Golden
Age” of rap, techno and funk; and songs of this genre generally enlighten my mood.
Whatever your age, favourite team or favourite player, I
assure you that my views will entertain you and continue to develop your
passion for “Joga Bonito”, or as it is referred to outside of Brazil, “The
Beautiful Game”.
